Meet the study teams at AFNET and Cardialysis!

Several people are involved in the management and conduction of MAESTRIA – AFNET 10, including AFNET and the contract research organization (CRO) Cardialysis, the Corelabs, the work package leader and others. We will use the newsletter as a platform to introduce all these players to you. In this first edition we start with the teams at AFNET and Cardialysis.

AFNET

The MAESTRIA team at AFNET in Münster, Germany, consists of 5 persons:

  • Beatriz Lorente, PhD, project manager
  • Antje Albring, PhD, deputy project manager
  • Simone Mähner, project assistant
  • Emilia Czarnecki, AFNET representative of MAESTRIA – AFNET 10 in the MAESTRIA work package 6 (dissemination)
  • Ines Gröner, MD, AFNET managing director, authorized for the MAESTRIA – AFNET 10 contracts

The AFNET team is responsible for the coordination of the scientific committees. Beatriz Lorente and her colleagues arrange international meetings and keep in touch with the principal investigators. Emilia Czarnecki represents the study in the work package 6 (dissemination) of the MAESTRIA consortium.

 

Cardialysis

The MAESTRIA team at the CRO Cardialysis in Rotterdam, NL, comprises 4 persons:

Chantal

My name is Chantal Bakker and I work at Cardialysis in the role of Project Manager. At Cardialysis, we are responsible for the MAESTRIA –  AFNET 10 regulatory submissions, site management and data management. Looking forward to (further) contribute to this interesting study!

 

Martin

My name is Martin Geertsma and I am the Data Manager for the MAESTRIA-AFNET 10 study. I am responsible for the data collection and cleaning and the development and maintenance of the Marvin eCRF.

 

Arwin

My name is Arwin Hsiao, and I am the Clinical Trial Assistant at Cardialysis. The most important responsibility I am having is supporting the MAESTRIA team with sending, tracing and administration as well as saving essential documents at study level.

 

Leonie 250

My name is Leonie van Meijl and I have recently joined the MAESTRIA team. I will be the lead CRA for this study, as well as the monitor for the sites in the Netherlands. I look forward to working with you on this project!
